Fox Global was recently requested to supply 1 ½” (38mm) Chemical Composite Code 951 Hose for a solvent manufacturing facility in Altona Melbourne.
The hoses were wire whipped and fitted with Male Brass ends. This option allows the client to screw on camlocks couplings which can then be easily replaced should the camlock get damaged during the life of the hose.
The Composite Code 951 Chemical Hose is clearly identified by its grey outer cover and reflective red stripe. Constructed from high strength & high density polypropylene films and fabrics with a polypropylene coated galvanised internal and galvanised external wire. The Code 951 Composite Hose is ideal for the suction and delivery of a wide range of acids, alkalis and solvents. While the Code 951 Hose is extremely lightweight and flexible, it remains a very hard wearing and robust hose making it ideal for chemical suction & delivery in industrial, processing and transport applications.
